Reason # 50 VIBRATION not ACCUMULATION
The blog is slowly but surely drawing to a close. The final ten days will include a few parting reflections, but will mostly serve as a visual summary of all we've shared thus far. The words of Ecclesiastes certainly comes to mind. Most definitely it is a sobering truth that has echoed through the ages: wealth, status, most human accomplishments eventually fade like mist.
And yet, there are more to consider. For me, this life has not been a empty chase after wind (or accomplishments) , but rather a lingering presence—a participation in a life that at times felt like a dreamscape. I often said; "I am at play in the fields of the Lord."
Therefor, I believe, what Ecclesiastes is pointing to is the fleeting nature of everything. That, I can deeply affirm. But in this life, we are also gifted with the spiritual—and that, I believe, is the bridge where the temporary meets the eternal.
Perhaps that’s why this blog has been so meaningful to me. It has been my way of honoring the blessings I’ve received in this life—of saying clearly that I have taken none of it for granted.
As I look back with gratitude on the experiences I’ve gathered, my intention is that, once everything is lovingly summarized, we can then lovingly walk away from the accumulation part and rather offer a quiet vibration of contentment, satisfaction, and peace. A Vibration of JUST BE. For we have always BEEN FAR MORE THAN ENOUGH!
