Reason # 24 Are all Psychologist PSYCHO ?
I have a shelf filled with all the psychology books I studied—I think collectively over forty thousand pages. Yikes!!! Sometimes I wonder why psychology is so complicated...
When it comes to human nature, the following video might just sum it up brilliantly!! On a lighter note: "Just think of all the reading and studying I could’ve skipped—if only someone had handed me this cheat sheet a bit earlier!"
See here it is!!! - The CODE to understanding Human Behavior in a nutshell...

That being said, off course psychology approaches human nature from multiple angles, each discipline offering its own unique lens.
Psychoanalysis delves into the unconscious mind and early childhood experiences, while behaviorism focuses on observable behavior and the impact of conditioning.
Humanistic psychology emphasizes personal growth, free will, and the inherent goodness of people. Cognitive psychology explores how we think, perceive, and remember, shedding light on the mental processes behind behavior.
Gestalt psychology, in turn, stresses that human experience is more than the sum of its parts—how we perceive patterns, wholes, and context shapes our understanding of reality.
Social psychology investigates how individuals are influenced by the presence of others, and evolutionary psychology examines the biological roots of behavior shaped by adaptation. Together, these diverse disciplines form a rich and often complex picture of what it means to be human. And that is not even addressing so called abnormal behavior or the many "disorders". Thankfully in modern psychology and mental health practice, there's been a shift away from the term "disorders" toward language that is more person-centered, less pathologizing, and more reflective of spectrum-based understandings of mental health. For example "Mental health conditions"/ "Mental health challenges" or "difficulties"/ "Neurodivergence" or "neurodevelopmental differences" and "being on the spectrum" is much preferred terms.
Ain't we all somewhere on a spectrum!? Let us learn and love - simply embracing our beautiful human experience.
Today, I want to pay homage to all the psychology courses I took.
Thank you Muse for both the pain and the pleasure - and all the homework together with the homage. I know I must not analyze this process too much!(smile)
